Linklaters advises Qualitas Energy on the acquisition of a 117 MWp solar farm portfolio from ib vogt

Linklaters has advised Qualitas Energy, a global investment and management platform focused on renewable energy, energy transition, and sustainable infrastructure investment, on the acquisition of a 117 MWp solar portfolio in Poland from ib vogt, an international renewable energy development platform. This transaction significantly strengthens Qualitas Energy's position in the Polish renewable energy market.

The portfolio consists of two photovoltaic solar farms, both in a "ready-to-build" phase, with construction scheduled to commence in the second and third quarters of 2025. The plants, located in central Poland, are expected to achieve commercial operation by the second half of 2026, generating over 125 GWh of clean energy annually. This is sufficient to supply electricity to approximately 65,000 households.

The dedicated renewables M&A team was led by Adam Usiądek (senior associate, corporate) and Aleksandra Kurecka (associate, energy and infrastructure), managed by Jakub Dąbrowski (counsel, energy and infrastructure), and overseen by Marcin Schulz (national managing partner) and Patryk Figiel (partner, energy & infrastructure). The core team of specialists also included Dominik Piechowiak (associate, energy and infrastructure), Maria Majchrzak (junior associate, energy and infrastructure), Michał Nocoń (co-head of tax), Jan Jurga (senior associate, tax), and Łukasz Czerepak (senior associate, corporate).
