Overview

Antoine advises on all aspects of EU, French, and Moroccan competition law, EU State aid rules, and foreign investment control.

He advises on the merger and foreign investment control aspects of complex cross-border M&A deals and joint ventures. He has coordinated filings in over 30 countries and has knowledge of merger and foreign investment control regimes of key jurisdictions globally. He also handles merger control filings before the European Commission, the French Competition Authority, the Moroccan Competition Council, and foreign investment filings before the French Ministry of Economics.

He advises multinational companies in litigation proceedings before the European Commission and the French Competition Authority in cartel and abuse of dominant position cases. He also advises on EU State aid rules and handles State aid filings before the European Commission.

  • A national civil aviation authority: advising on all State aid aspects of the financing for the refurbishment and modernization of a major European international airport
  • A French Ligue 1 football club: advising on all State aid aspects of the financing for the construction of a new stadium
  • A French State-owned river-sea port: advising on all State aid aspects of the construction of a new waterway

Professional experience

Antoine rejoined Linklaters in 2025 after completing his training contracts with Allen & Overy in Paris and Linklaters in Brussels and spending more than three years as an associate with Clifford Chance in Paris.

Education and qualifications

Antoine holds a Master of Laws from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne and an LL.M from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
