Linklaters advises the lenders on €18.6bn merger between MásMóvil Group and Orange Spain
Linklaters has advised the lenders on the €6.6 billion financing supporting the merger between MásMóvil Group and Orange Spain, to combine their telecommunications operations in Spain with an enterprise value of €18.6 billion.
The transaction is expected to close during the second half of 2023 at the latest, with the two companies continuing to operate independently until then.
Linklaters’ cross-border banking team included London leveraged finance partners Nick Syson, Angus Graham, Andrew Jennens and Noel Hughes who were supported by counsel James Simpson, managing associate Ilya Andalashvili, associates Lliam Powell, Megan Tan and legal advisor William Choules. They worked alongside New York banking partner Danelle Le Cren and senior US associate Andres Loera.
