Overview

Adjoa is a Managing Associate in the Derivatives and Financial Markets group in London. Adjoa has extensive experience advising clients on market disrupting projects, in particular, dematerialisation, digital bonds and developing new financial market infrastructure. She also has strong experience in OTC derivatives including the structuring and negotiation of strategic corporate equity derivative products.

Work highlights

Adjoa has advised on numerous high-profile transactions and industry-leading projects, including advising:

  • Euroclear Bank on the establishment and launch of its new Digital Securities Platform, the DFMI, and Euroclear Bank and TD Securities on the inaugural digital securities issuance by the World Bank.
  • Bharti Global on its acquisition of c.24.5% of the issued share capital of BT Group.
  • the London Metal Exchange on the dematerialisation of warrants transferred through its existing system facilitating deliveries of metal, LMEsword. 
  • ICE Futures Europe on the dematerialisation of its warrant management system for cocoa and coffee from paper to fully electronic form.
  • A consortium of investment banks on the development of a VCC trading platform.
