Overview

Corneel joined the Brussels Real Estate practice group in 2022. He is involved in advisory, transactional and litigation work for both national and international clients. Corneel has a combined focus on real estate law and public law, including environmental and urban planning law.

Corneel has a particular interest in sustainability within the real estate sector.

Work highlights

Corneel’s experience includes:

  • Advising INEOS on the Belgian aspects of its €3.5bn project for the development and operation of an ethane cracker and PDH installation in the Port of Antwerp

Education and qualifications

Corneel obtained his law degree from KU Leuven, where he took part in the Research Master of Laws programme organised in cooperation with the University of Edinburgh. During his studies, he completed an Erasmus exchange at the Université de Strasbourg.

Corneel speaks Dutch, English and French.
