Overview
Petra is a managing associate who advises corporates, sovereign issuers and financial institutions on a broad range of debt capital markets products, including standalone debt offerings, euro medium term note programmes, regulatory capital and liability management.
Work highlights
Petra's experience includes:
- World Bank (IBRD): advising the bookrunner on the first CHF digital bond by an international issuer.
- London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG): advising the arranger and dealers on the re-establishment of its £10bn EMTN programme and the joint lead managers on the issuances under the programme and 144A standalone new issues, as well as the dealer managers on tender offers undertaken by LSEG.
- Phoenix Group: advising the issuer on treasury matters including its £5bn EMTN programme, its US$750m and US$500m RT1 issuances, its £350m Tier 2 issuance and related cash tender offers as well as early redemptions.
- Republic of Serbia: advising the arranger and dealers on the establishment and updates of its GMTN programme and the joint lead managers on the issuances under the programme, including the first social bond by the sovereign.
- Thames Water and Solvay: advising the issuers on liability management matters in the context of a wider corporate or restructuring exercise.
Professional experience
Petra has worked in the firm's London office and has completed secondments to the Debt Capital Markets desks of two major international banks in London.
Education and qualifications
Petra studied law at the University of Warwick and spent a year studying international and European law on the Erasmus programme at Utrecht University. She then completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, Moorgate.
