Overview

Sophia is a Counsel knowledge lawyer with over fifteen years’ experience in financial structuring. In recent years, her focus has been on fintech and financial market infrastructure innovation.

Within this area, Sophia writes thought leadership publications, delivers training, prepares advice and documentation and develops Linklaters’ position on complex areas of law and regulation. She has also held the pen on several industry responses to legal and regulatory consultations and on industry-wide contractual standards (including the ISDA Digital Assets Definitions). She is active in various working groups (including groups run by ISDA, ICMA and the FMLC) and has published work in prestigious journals (including the Capital Markets Law Journal and Butterworths Journal of International Banking and Financial Law).

Education and qualifications

Sophia studied law at University College London and then at the College of Law, London.
