Overview

William has worked on a wide range of transactions for financial sponsors, alternative investment managers and corporates both in London and in Moscow. His focus is on private equity and structured capital solutions.

Additionally, William is the coordinator for the London Corporate team’s pro bono activities.

William’s experience includes advising:           

  • A global alternative asset manager on its preferred equity and debt investment in a European wellness infrastructure complex.
  • The shareholders of Addison Lee (including Cheyne Capital) on the sale of Addison Lee to ComfortDelGro for approximately £269m.
  • Brookfield on its preferred equity investment in GEMS Education, a UAE-based education and ancillary services provider.
  • DigitalBridge and Vantage Data Centers Europe on the €1.5bn investment by AusSuper.
  • Equitix on the acquisition of Aurora Infrastructure, an electricity distribution network in Finland.
  • Greece’s Eurobank on the sale of its payment services business to Worldline.
  • The shareholders of Don Papa Rum on the sale of their entire shareholding to Diageo.
 

Education and qualifications

William holds an MSc in Human Sciences from University College London, an MSc in Law, Business and Management from the University of Law, and an MSc in International Finance from HEC Paris where he received an academic scholarship.
