With a particular focus on the hardship of balancing social/environmental aspects with commercial needs and the relevance of circular economy, the interview, conducted in Italian, focuses on how such themes are translated into the agenda of major organisations’ boards, such as that of Enel.

What emerges from the interview is that Enel is at the forefront on such themes not only at operational level, but also at board level, which has been the recipient of all sustainability reporting and sustainability planning for several years now. In this way it has been possible to make Enel's business model a sustainable business model. In addition to this, what emerges is that a circular economy model is already in place with Enel to ensure that the approaches and the various processes are based on this new way of managing the issue.
