Ireland publishes Draft Bill partially transposing the Pay Transparency Directive
Ireland has become the fourth EU member state to initiate implementation of the EU Pay Transparency Directive (the “EUPTD”), following Sweden's proposal in May 2024, Belgium's transposition within the public sector in September 2024 and Poland’s proposal in December 2024.
In this analysis, we highlight the Draft Bill’s key provisions (in relation to pay transparency) below, including whether the requirements goldplate compared to the EUPTD.
