Linklaters advises TPG and GIC on the acquisition of Techem for €6.7bn

Linklaters has advised the fund TPG Rise Climate and the investor GIC on the acquisition of the Techem Group.

The sellers are majority owner Partners Group and co-investors CDPQ and Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan.

The total value of the transaction is 6.7bn. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2025, subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals.
