Overview

Florence joined Linklaters Luxembourg in 2011 and worked in both our Paris and Frankfurt offices. Over the last 13 years she has gained invaluable experience in the corporate and M&A practices, has built up strong relationships with key clients of the firm and has become their trusted advisor. 

As a Counsel in the Luxembourg Linklaters corporate and M&A practice, she advises clients on a wide range of corporate matters with a particular emphasis on private equity transactions as well as corporate restructurings, joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions. Florence has a specific focus on the German market, working closely with the German Linklaters offices.

On the DE&I front, Florence focuses on developing our female talent from an early stage in their careers, acting as a mentor in the Female Sponsoring Programme for new joiners as well as a mentor in our yearly European Stepping Forward Program for our female associates having a seniority of 4-6 years.

She also takes part in the PE4W committee of the Luxembourg Private Equity Association (LPEA) and is an active member in the shaping of this committee for women in private equity.

Work highlights

Florence's recent experience includes:

  • Deutsche Beteiligungs AG: setting up of their Luxembourg office involving all facets of work as structuring, licencing, corporate and portfolio migration.
  • Deutsche Beteiligungs AG: advising on the Luxembourg aspects of all their acquisitions and exits in Germany and Italy (over 40 investments) and most recently on:
  • AVRIO Energie Gas, a biogas platform
  • ProMik Programmiersysteme für die Mikroelektronik GmbH, a leading global provider of programming and testing solutions for the electronics manufacturing industry
  • Syndication of ProMik
  • AOE GmbH, a leading agile software development provider
  • Technische Bau Dienstleistungen GmbH & Co. KG, a leading critical infrastructure construction service provider
  • Apax Partners: advising on the acquisition of Zellis, a provider of payroll and human capital management solutions. 
  • Apax Partners: advising on the acquisition of WGSN, specialising in consumer trend forecasting.
  • Montagu Private Equity: advising on their acquisition of Waystone Group (including in Luxembourg).
  • thyssenkrupp: advising on the reinvestment of thyssenkrupp in the context of the €17.2bn sale of its elevator business to a consortium led by Advent and Cinven.
 

Education and qualifications

Florence studied in Germany, France and the US and holds an LL.M. degree from Cornell Law School and a Master I and Master II degree from the University of Paris X.

She was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2010, the Paris Bar in 2011 and the Luxembourg Bar in 2012 (liste IV du Tableau de l'Ordre).
