Overview
Jo is a counsel in the Leveraged Finance team based in London. She has extensive experience advising private equity sponsors, corporate borrowers and commercial and investment banks in relation to a wide variety of domestic and cross-border financing transactions, including leveraged and acquisition finance, general corporate finance and restructurings.
Work highlights
- Vodafone: advising in respect of syndicated term and revolving facilities to be used by a joint venture vehicle (co-owned with a consortium of long-term infrastructure investors led by Global Infrastructure Partners and KKR) as part of the funding for the voluntary takeover offer for shares in Vantage Towers AG.
- BridgePoint: advising in relation to debt financing for Care UK and Practice Plus Group supporting its recapitalisation.
- Carlyle and the EnerMech Group: advising in relation to the restructuring of the EnerMech Group.
- The lenders: advising on a back leverage facility relating to the private equity-backed acquisition of a European wealth manager.
- A private equity group: advising on the financing of its acquisition of a specialist utility services provider.
- A multinational conglomerate: advising with the possible combination of two multinational telecommunications companies.
Education and qualifications
Jo holds a Masters of Science (Finance) from the London School of Economics. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Modern History & English from the University of Oxford.
