Linklaters advises on the US$2.75bn Sukuk issuance by The Republic of Indonesia
Linklaters advised the joint lead managers on the issuance of US$2.75bn trust certificates by The Republic of Indonesia. The offering comprises US$1.1bn 5.5-year trust certificates, US$900m 10-year trust certificates and US$750m 30-year trust certificates. The certificates are listed on both the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited and Nasdaq Dubai.
The transaction saw strong demand from diverse investor groups including asset and fund managers, financial institutions, sovereign wealth funds and insurance companies – as well as geographies, showcasing robust investment appetite and market confidence in the Indonesian economic outlook.
