Applications for Linklaters Solicitor Apprenticeship Programme 2024 now open
Linklaters is now open for applications to its Solicitor Apprenticeship Programme 2024, which offers an alternative pathway to solicitor qualification in the UK, helping to widen access to the legal sector.
Linklaters will welcome its second cohort of eight solicitor apprentices onto the programme in London starting in September 2024. They will be part of a six-year programme providing on-the-job training, with the solicitor apprentices undertaking law degree studies 20% of their time for the first four years. In years five and six, the apprentices will join Linklaters’ trainee solicitor cohort, during which time they will also complete the solicitor’s qualification examination (SQE).
The programme will be open to school leavers nationwide with applications opening on 23 October 2023 and closing on 15 February 2024.
Linklaters has a range of programmes focused on reaching and attracting underrepresented talent. One of the firm’s bespoke programmes includes Making Links Discovery, run in partnership with the Social Mobility Foundation and the Amos Bursary – designed to open up access to a career in the law for 16 to 18 year old students across the UK.
