Linklaters Paris: arrival of Yohann Smadja as Counsel in the Corporate/M&A Team
Linklaters Paris announces the arrival of Yohann Smadja as Counsel in the Corporate/M&A team. He joins the Paris office with a strong background from leading international law firms.
Yohann is involved in domestic and cross-border transactions, including public and private mergers and acquisitions, as well as corporate governance, securities law, and group reorganisations. He advises listed and unlisted companies across various sectors such as technology, healthcare, consumer goods, media, and telecommunications.
Admitted to the Paris Bar since 2016, Yohann holds a Master 2 in Business Law from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas and a Master's degree in Business Law (DJCE).
The Corporate/M&A team at the Paris office now consists of around fifty lawyers, including nine partners (Mehdi Boumedine, Julien Bourmaud-Danto, Bruno Derieux, Alain Garnier, Nicolas Le Guillou, Florent Mazeron, Hubert Segain, Pierre Thomet, and Pierre Tourres) and five Counsels (Julie Bailly, Vera Maramzine, Thomas Pontacq, Louis Prades, and Yohann Smadja). The team handles the most complex and significant cases, particularly in the energy, infrastructure, transportation, industry, banking and financial services, distribution and consumer goods, healthcare, and new technology sectors.
