Overview

Genna advises financial sponsors and their investee companies on a full range of transactions including cross-border leveraged M&A, bolt-on acquisitions, carve-outs, co-investments, minority deals, full and partial disposals, restructurings and general portfolio company issues.

Genna has been recognised in the Lawyer’s 2023 Hot 100 and as a Private Equity “Rising Star” by Law.com.  

Genna joined the firm in 2023 and was previously a partner at a leading UK private equity transactional firm.

    - on its investment in Focus Group.
    - on its partnership with CUBE, creating an industry defining regulatory compliance and risk platform.
    - in relation to its investment in IRIS, representing one of Europe’s largest software buyouts for 2023.
    - on the sale of Commify to ECI Partners. 
  • iCON Infrastructure on its acquisition of Alliance Medical group from Life Healthcare, a South African listed company, at an enterprise value of £910m.
  • TDR Capital and I Squared Capital on their joint EUR 1.26bn competing offer for Applus Services S.A.
  • 3i on the sale of its stake in Anglian Water*

Genna holds a law degree (LL.B.) from the University of Edinburgh and completed an LL.M. at the University of Cambridge.
