Linklaters advises Petrobras and BR Distribuidora on the largest equity transaction year-to-date in Brazil

Linklaters has advised Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. – Petrobras, as selling shareholder, and Petrobras Distribuidora S.A. – BR Distribuidora, as issuer, in connection with Petrobras’s follow-on offering of 436,875,000 common shares of BR Distribuidora.

The shares were offered and sold to the public in Brazil as a registered offering, qualified institutional buyers in the United States, and certain non-U.S. persons under Regulation S. The shares are listed on the Novo Mercado segment of the São Paulo Stock Exchange, the B3.

Year to date, this is the largest equity transaction in Brazil.
