Experience
Fredrik is a dual-qualified Spanish and Swedish lawyer with more than fifteen years’ experience of transactional and contentious competition law both at a European and at a national level in a wide range of industry sectors such as chemicals, infrastructure and financial services. Fredrik has a particularly broad experience in merger control cases before the EU and member state competition authorities, and is also an expert in EU state aid law. He has published a number of articles on competition law in leading academic journals and yearbooks. Though based in Madrid, Fredrik is very active also in the Nordic countries. The 2013 through 2015 editions of Chambers rank him as a leading individual in competition law in Spain.
