A month ago to the day, we published an article summarising Covid-19-related Government Support Measures affecting commercial Real Estate so far, and in particular the 3 month moratorium on forfeiture of commercial leases. On 23 April, in a further blow to commercial landlords, the Government announced the introduction of further emergency and temporary support measures to protect tenants against aggressive debt recovery by landlords.
