Linklaters advises an international banking syndicate on a syndicated loan for BASF in the amount of EUR 6 billion

Linklaters has advised an international banking syndicate on a syndicated credit line for BASF SE. The credit agreement has a volume of six billion euros.

The new five-year revolving credit facility with an extension option is available to the group for very short-term liquidity requirements if needed and serves to finance general corporate purposes.

BASF SE is a leading global chemical company with approximately 112,000 employees and 234 production sites. The company's portfolio comprises the segments Chemicals, Materials, Industrial Solutions, Surface Technologies, Nutrition & Care and Agricultural Solutions. BASF generated global revenues of EUR 68.9 billion in 2023.
