"PISCES": a guide to the proposed UK Private Intermittent Securities and Capital Exchange System

Since 2022, the UK Government has mooted an intermittent exchange as an “intermediate step” to public capital markets. Appropriately, during the “Pisces” period in the zodiac, HM Treasury has now published an open consultation on the upcoming Sandbox trial of a new Private Intermittent Securities and Capital Exchange System (PISCES), which will allow intermittent secondary market trading of shares that are not already admitted to trading.
