Linklaters advises Resolution Re on its first flow reinsurance partnership in Japan

Linklaters advised Resolution Re, the Bermudian reinsurance platform of Resolution Life, on its first flow reinsurance transaction in Japan. Linklaters advised on various aspects of the transaction including the reinsurance documentation and Japanese regulatory considerations.

The transaction is Resolution Life’s second in Japan, further extending its business commitment to the Asian life insurance industry.

The transaction was led by Tokyo-based corporate partner Tracy Whiriskey, supported by corporate partner Yoshiyuki Asaoka and managing associates Jessika Colthurst and Hiroto Nakayama.
