Christoph has specialised experience in advising clients on national and international M&A as well as Private Equity and Venture Capital transactions, restructurings and corporate law. He also advises creditors and debtors on cross-border restructurings and questions on insolvency-related matters.

  • Deutsche Energy Terminal GmbH (DET): Advising on the acquisition of all assets of the floating liquefied natural gas terminal in Brunsbüttel from RWE and Elbehafen LNG GmbH.
  • Hella GmbH & Co KGaA: Advising on the termination of a joint venture for brake components and the acquisition of all shares in the joint venture company.
  • Volkswagen: advising in connection with the IPO of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG.
  • Unilever: advising on the sale of the tea business to CVC Partners.
  • US investor: advising in connection with the development of hyperscaler data centers in the Rhine-Main region and Europe.
  • AP Ventures: Financing round of Hydrogenious LOHC Technologies GmbH.

Education and qualifications

Christoph studied law at the Eberhard Karls-Universität Tübingen, the Universidad Pontificia Comillas Madrid and the Universität zu Köln. He holds a PhD from the Universität zu Köln.

He speaks German and English.
