Overview
Dominic specialises in advising corporate clients and investment banks on mergers and acquisitions (including public takeovers and private acquisitions), primary and secondary equity issues, reorganisations, joint ventures and general corporate advisory work.
He advises across many sectors with particular knowledge of energy and natural resources matters.
Dominic has carried out legal client secondments at Rio Tinto and AXA. In addition, he has also spent time working in the investment banking execution team at a U.S. multinational bank.

Dominic has worked on a wide range of transactions. A selection of his recent experience includes advising:
- BHP on its investment in Kabanga Nickel, one of the largest development-ready nickel sulphide deposits in the world
- Dialog Semiconductor in connection with its public takeover by Renesas Electronics Corporation
- BP in relation to the sale of its petrochemicals business (acetyls and aromatics) to INEOS
- Vistry (formerly Bovis Homes) on its innovative acquisition of the housebuilding and partnerships businesses of Galliford Try for shares and cash and the related equity and debt financings
- Morgan Stanley on a pan-European Brexit-related reorganisation of its investment banking, asset management and other business divisions
- Sainsbury’s on its proposed combination with ASDA, involving cash and share consideration to Walmart
- on various IPOs and secondary equity capital raisings, including Allied Irish Banks on its reprivatisation and IPO, Caracal, Brait, DS Smith, Johnston Press, Kenmare Resources, Melrose Industries, SEGRO and Standard Chartered
Education and qualifications
Dominic holds an undergraduate degree from Oxford University, in addition to a graduate diploma from the Universidad de San Andrés (UDESA) located in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
He has also sat the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course with the University of Law.
Dominic speaks English, French and Spanish.
