Overview
Mamoru has considerable experience in the energy and infrastructure field, with a particular focus on regional offshore wind projects. He has advised many domestic and international developers as well as lenders on the various development stages of offshore wind projects in Japan. He has experience in conventional large-scale LNG projects and is active in the rapidly evolving clean hydrogen/ammonia space. He also has experience in cross-border digital asset acquisition transactions in Europe.
Professional experience
Prior to joining Linklaters, Mamoru was extensively involved in a variety of asset finance transactions (mainly involving aircraft, vessels and marine containers) at a major domestic law firm.
Education and qualifications
Mamoru is a graduate from the University of Tokyo School of Law and earned an LLM from New York University School of Law.
