Linklaters advises Iberdrola on the acquisition of wind and solar projects in Poland
Linklaters has advised Iberdrola, a world leader in renewable energy, on the acquisition of 98 megawatts (MW) of wind and solar projects in Poland. The seller is Augusta Energy, a joint venture between GreenVolt subsidiary, V-ridium Power Group and KGAL.
The transaction comprises two wind farms with a combined capacity of 50 MW and six solar plants totalling 48 MW. All projects are currently under construction and are part of a 15-year power purchase agreement entered with T-Mobile Polska. The projects are expected to be commissioned in 2023.
Completion of the transaction is subject to customary conditions precedent.
