Linklaters appoints Michael Bennett as General Counsel

Linklaters is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Bennett to the position of General Counsel.

While still being available to clients, Michael’s focus will move towards advising the firm and its senior leadership, along with responsibility for the firm’s Legal & Risk function.

Michael joined Linklaters in 1989 and served as Global Head of Dispute Resolution from 2014 to 2021. With more than 30 years’ experience in managing legal, regulatory, political and reputational risk in commercially sensitive situations, he is a well-respected practitioner in the legal market.
