Overview
Chee is an associate in the NYC Energy & Infrastructure Practice at Linklaters. Before joining Linklaters, Chee was a summer law clerk at a premier law firm in Korea, and a research assistant at Cornell Law School.

- Elia Group SA/NV:
- advising on its acquisition, through Elia Group’s wholly owned subsidiary WindGrid USA LLC, of a 35.1% stake in energyRe Giga Projects, a subsidiary of energyRe LLC, the proceeds of which will be used to fund renewable U.S. transmission and energy generation projects.
- Advising through Elia Group’s wholly owned subsidiary WindGrid USA LLC on entering into a suite of Pre-NTP (Notice to Proceed) Financing Documents pertaining to a US$400m facility.
- Qualitas Energy: representing in connection with energy regulatory matters, including FERC approval under FPA Section 203, related to its acquisition of Heelstone Renewable Energy, a utility-scale solar and storage developer.
- Avantus: advising as seller in connection with the sale of 100% of the equity interests in 231RC 8me LLC, which owns a 159MWdc / 125MWac solar PV generating facility, known as Norton Solar Project in Runnels County, Texas.
- Osaka Gas and its subsidiaries: advising on the partial refinancing and restructuring of existing project-level debt and additional mezzanine debt totaling approximately US$370m for a combined cycle gas-fired power plant.
- BNP Paribas: advising with respect to a SACE covered Facility Agreement with the Facility amount of EUR 200,000,000, the proceeds of which are to be used by Raizen Fuels Finance S.A., a Luxembourg entity, for the financing of its Green projects.
Education and qualifications
Chee studied financial economics at Columbia University and received his Juris Doctorate from Cornell Law School.
