In our publication, we look ahead to some of the key developments and issues across diversity, equity and inclusion impacting global employers in the coming years
The last decade has seen an unrelenting focus on culture within financial services firms. The link between poor culture, poor decision-making and conduct failings was laid bare by the 2008 global financial crisis. Focus has now shifted to the role diversity and inclusion play in supporting better decision-making, better outcomes for firms and customers and enhanced risk management.
We have produced a series of podcasts where members from the Faculty discuss some of the key issues for businesses relating to diversity and inclusion, including: pipeline, promotion and retention; developing a diversity strategy vs a diversity policy; training – what’s effective and what isn’t; quotas, targets and positive discrimination; the link between diversity and remuneration; accountability for diversity; the link between diversity and ESG, diversity reporting and intersectionality. Each podcast explores a different topic and shares the views of the Diversity Faculty, bringing together our legal experts and dedicated diversity advisors.
