Linklaters receives outstanding pro bono impact partner award from National Women’s Law Center
Linklaters received the outstanding pro bono impact partner award from the National Women’s Law Center (NWLC) at its 2024 Gala in Washington, D.C.
Linklaters has partnered in NWLC’s fight for gender justice for over three years, with more than 80 lawyers and staff across multiple offices, countries and practice areas contributing over 5,500 pro bono hours to the Law Center so far. The firm has partnered with NWLC on two amicus briefs, one in pursuit of justice for a sexual assault survivor in Chase v. Nodine’s Smokehouse Inc., et. Al, and the second in the Students for Fair Admissions (SFFA) v. Harvard University and University of North Carolina affirmative action cases before the Supreme Court. Linklaters has also provided research on Title IX, harassment standards and mandatory reports, as well as partnered with NWLC on fair housing issues through state and federal bill tracking and nationwide legislative surveys. We are currently producing a co-branded source of income discrimination fact sheet for public consumption. Linklaters is also actively collaborating with NWLC on an LGBTQIA+ advocacy CLE course that will be available in early 2025.
