Work highlights

• Porsche and Volkswagen: advised as lead counsel on the proposed IPO and listing of Porsche on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and the related pre-deal corporate reorganisation.
• SCHOTT Pharma AG & Co. KGaA: advised the Underwriters on the IPO of Schott Pharma on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
• RENK Group AG: Advised the Underwriters on the IPO of RENK Group AG on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
• Ams-OSRAM: advised issuers side on the Company’s EUR 2.5bn recapitalization including a discounted rights issue and high yield bond offering.
• VT5 Acquisition Company AG: advised UBS on the de-SPAC of the VT5 Acquisition Company AG, the first de-SPAC on the SIX Swiss Exchange, and the related financing and acquisition of the R&S Group.
• Novartis: advised the joint bookrunners in connection with the SEC-registered issuance of four series of bonds in an aggregate principal amount of US$3.7bn by Novartis Capital Corporation, guaranteed by Novartis AG.
• Lenzing AG: advised issuer side in connection with Lenzing AG's EUR 400m capital raise and the listing of 12,068,180 shares on the Vienna Stock Exchange.
• Volkswagen Group of America Finance, LLC: advised on a number of 144A bond transactions by Volkswagen Group of America Finance, LLC guaranteed by Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft.
• Allianz SE: advised the Initial Purchasers on a number of the German insurance company’s 144A/Reg S offerings.

Alexander first joined Linklaters as a Summer Associate in the firm’s New York office in 2021. He has been based in Frankfurt since 2022.

He is a member of the New York Bar, the Frankfurt Bar, and the German-American Lawyers Association e.V.

Alexander received his Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School graduating cum laude with a concentration in Business and Finance law. Alexander also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the George Washington University.
