Christian Rieß specializes in dispute resolution in national and international proceedings and represents clients before both state courts and arbitration tribunals. The focus of his work is on post-M&A disputes and directors' and officers' liability cases.
Professional experience
Christian Rieß joined Linklaters as a legal trainee in 2022 and has been working as an associate in Frankfurt since 2024. From September to December 2023, he worked as a foreign attorney in the New York office. As part of his legal clerkship, he also completed stages at leading German and American law firms. Before, he worked as a lecturer at Ruprecht Karl University of Heidelberg.
Education and qualifications
Christian Rieß studied law at the Ruprecht Karl University of Heidelberg, where he later also obtained his Ph.D. He completed his legal traineeship at the District Court Heidelberg. He also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Chicago.
He speaks German and English.
