Overview
Laure has been a Junior Associate in the Global Energy & Infrastructure Group in Brussels since 2025. She specialises in energy law, offering advice on electricity and gas regulations, renewable energy projects, and the drafting of energy contracts. Her expertise extends to areas such as hydrogen, heat networks, and grid configuration issues.
Professional experience
Laure is a member of the core editorial board of "Environmental and Energy Law (MER)." She has collaborated on various books, articles, and papers on energy law, including contributions to the Yearbook on Energy Law 2023 and 2024. In an earlier phase of her career, Laure served as a legal clinic researcher for the UN Environment Program, where she focused on sustainable finance in the context of the environment and energy sectors. She also gained experience through internships at the Permanent Representation of Belgium to the United Nations in Geneva and the Constitutional Court of Belgium.
Education and qualifications
Laure holds a Bachelor of Laws from UCLouvain Saint-Louis Brussels and a Masters of Law from the Catholic University of Leuven. She further enhanced her expertise with an LL.M. certificate in International Economic & Business Law from Kyushu University, Japan, and an LL.M. in International Environmental Law and Global Governance from the Graduate Institute Geneva.
