ESMA Guidelines on marketing communications under the Regulation on CBDF

On 2 August 2021, ESMA published on its website the Guidelines on marketing communications under the Regulation on cross-border distribution of funds which have now been translated into the official EU languages.

The guidelines will apply in six months i.e. 2 February 2022 on a comply or explain basis, meaning national regulators will have to notify ESMA whether they comply or not with the guidelines.
