Overview

Emma is a Managing Associate based in Brussels who joined the Belgian Real Estate Practice Group of Linklaters in 2019. She focuses on infrastructure and energy projects, real estate, construction and the related public law aspects. She works on a range of projects and real estate transactions, advising both Belgian and international clients.

Professional experience

Emma joined the Real Estate Practice at Linklaters in 2019. Before joining Linklaters, she has gained experience as a Columbia Law School Fellow at the NGO International Senior Lawyers Project (with projects in The Gambia and Kenya), and as a corporate associate at Allen & Overy Brussels.

Education and qualifications

Emma first obtained a bachelor in commercial engineering and a master in law and economics before turning to her law degree at KU Leuven, Belgium. She participated in an exchange programme at Humboldt Universität in Berlin during her master’s in law and holds an LL.M. degree from Columbia University, New York.

Emma speaks Dutch, English, French and German.
