Linklaters has advised BNPP, HSBC, Mizuho, Natwest and SMBC as arrangers and underwriters on the financing for Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co’s acquisition by way of recommended cash offer of Smart Metering Systems plc (SMS). SMS is a British energy infrastructure company which owns, installs and manages carbon reduction assets.

Linklaters has advised HSBC and JP Morgan (as lead arrangers and physical bookrunners) and Goldman Sachs, Jefferies, RBC, SMBC and Unicredit (as joint bookrunners and arrangers) on the syndicated TLB refinancing of the Normec Group, an Astorg portfolio company. The financing package comprises a €565m TLB, with a delayed draw facility of €100m.
