Linklaters advises Man Capital LLP on its investment and restructuring arrangements in Right to Dream Limited as part of its investment in Major League Soccer
Linklaters has advised Man Capital LLP, the UK-based investment arm of the Egyptian Mansour Group, on its investment and restructuring arrangements in Right to Dream Limited, as part of Right to Dream Limited’s investment in a Major League Soccer franchise based in San Diego. The new MLS franchise will be the 30th MLS club as the league looks to further expand in California. The new club will form part of Right to Dream’s existing football network, which also includes the FC Nordsjælland club and academy in Denmark and the Right to Dream football academies in Ghana and Egypt.
David Martin, partner at Linklaters commented:
“We are delighted to work once again with Man Capital LLP on such an exciting development for Major League Soccer, after previously advising them in 2020 on its investment in and partnership with Right to Dream. Congratulations to all those involved!”
