  • Orange Polska: advising one of the largest Polish telecommunications service providers on the establishment of a 50:50 joint venture with the APG fund valued at €605m, to build a fiber-optic network in Poland.
  • Światłowód Inwestycje: advising a 50/50 joint venture between Orange Polska S.A. and the APG fund on a €690m (approx. PLN 3.15bn) financing for the development of a fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network for c. 1.7m households in Poland.
  • EBRD and BNP Paribas Bank Polska S.A.: advising on the PLN 700m financing of a 200MW portfolio of wind and solar projects in Poland.
  • Several leading banks active in Poland: advising in a number of disputes regarding mortgage loans indexed to CHF and EUR and UNWW (insurance) issues, both individual claims and class actions.
  • Nrep: advising a leading Nordic real estate investor on its first investment into the Polish private rented sector (PRS). The investment entails more than 1,000 newly built units acquired from YIT.
  • CBRE Investment Management: advising a global real assets investment management firm on the acquisition of the 211,803 sqm Nexus logistics portfolio located in Poland, from European Logistics Investment. The transaction was one of the largest in terms of size and value in the Polish industrial market in 2021.
  • Polski Fundusz Rozwoju S.A.: advising a state-owned financial group with respect to the implementation of the “Financial Shield”, the government financial support programme aimed at reducing the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Mirova: advising an investment manager dedicated to sustainable investing on various acquisitions in Poland, including the acquisition of a 132MW portfolio of three onshore wind projects and a 160MW portfolio of two onshore wind farm projects.
  • Capitea (previously GetBack): advising in a criminal investigation conducted by the Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw, and as a subject of a regulatory investigation led by the Polish Financial Supervisory Authority (KNF) concerning multiple fraudulent activities of the former management board, and senior officers of the company – which led to its insolvency.
  • Carlyle Group: advising a global investment firm with US$325bn of assets under management on its sale of Logoplaste, a leading global manufacturer of rigid plastic packaging solutions, to Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board.
  • Meridiam and Urbaser: advising on a successful public procurement bid for a PPP project (high-efficiency waste-to-energy CHP plant to provide district heating), with the project financing on non-recourse terms.
  • CP Developer (joint venture between Cornerstone Investment Management and Crestyl): advising on the sale of 2,500 apartments for rent to the Swedish investor Heimstaden Bostad with a value of PLN 1,4bn.
  • Orange Polska: advising one of the largest Polish telecommunications service providers in two precedent-setting cases involving claims filed by P4 against Orange Polska and Polkomtel for compensation in connection with accusations made against Orange Polska and Polkomtel of abuse of their collective dominant position.
  • A consortium of lenders: advising on a PLN 886m landmark financing for CCC S.A., one of the largest footwear retail companies in Central Europe.
  • Investika: advising Czech investment fund on the acquisition of Tensor Office Park, comprising three A class office buildings in Gdynia.
