Baltic Power
Linklaters has advised a group of commercial lenders, ECAs and multilateral financial institutions on the development and $5.2bn non-recourse green financing of the Baltic Power offshore wind farm.
AESC Douai
Linklaters has acted as counsel to the lenders and the European Investment Bank (EIB) on the financing of the Envision AESC electric battery gigafactory in Douai. The funding will provide a battery supply of 9 GWh to power 200,000 electric vehicles produced by Renault each year from 2025. This investment is the first of four battery gigafactories planned in the Hauts-de-France region.
H2 Green Steel
Linklaters has acted as lead counsel to the co-lead investors Altor, GIC, Hy24 and Just Climate on the c.€1.5bn private placement in H2 Green Steel, the proceeds of which will be used for the construction and development of H2 Green Steel’s flagship large-scale green steel plant in Boden, Sweden.
Bruc Energy
Linklaters acted as legal advisers to the arrangers in connection with the €600m HoldCo financing of Bruc Energy, S.L. (Spanish IPP backed by USS and OPT) to partially finance the construction and operation of a portfolio of solar photovoltaic and wind generation plants of 8.5 GW in Spain.
Hai Long
A cross-border Linklaters team advised Northland Power Inc. (NPI) and Mitsui & Co., Ltd (Mitsui) as joint developers, and the Hai Long project companies, on the TWD 117bn project financing of the 1,022MW Hai Long offshore wind farm project in Taiwan.
NEOM
Linklaters is advising NEOM on the procurement and development of its residential communities’ project, a social infrastructure project that will house the growing workforce of the region taking shape in northwest Saudi Arabia.
