Overview

Anastasia has been part of the corporate and finance practice in Brussels since 2019. 

Anastasia advises clients on various aspects of corporate law, in both a general and transactional context, including on mergers and acquisitions, public takeovers, operations on equity and corporate advisory.

Work highlights

 

Anastasia has advised on a wide range of major corporate transactions. These include advising:

 

  • Crédit Agricole SA, in the framework of the acquisition of a controlling stake in Bank Degroof Petercam followed by a voluntary public takeover bid on the remaining shares, for a total transaction value of € 1.55 billion
  • Orange Belgium SA, in the framework of the acquisition of VOO SA, the transaction being based on an enterprise value of € 1.8 billion
  • AKKA Technologies SE, in the framework of its € 2 billion business combination with the Adecco Group, including a mandatory takeover bid
  • Victoria Midco Holdings, in the framework of the acquisition of Balta Industries and Balta Services to Balta
  • AXA SA, in the framework of the sale of its Belgian banking operations to Crelan and AXA Belgium, in the acquisition of Crelan Insurance, in a deal valued at € 620 million
  • E.ON SE, in the framework of the sale of Essent Belgium to Luminus, a subsidiary of EDF.
     

Professional experience

Anastasia has been an associate in the corporate and finance practice with a focus on M&A (both private and public) since 2019. 

Education and qualifications

Anastasia holds a Master’s Degree in Law from the Université catholique de Louvain (UCL). She also studied for six months at the University of Lisbon within the framework of the Erasmus Programme.

Anastasia speaks French, Greek, English and Dutch.
