Overview

Olena has specialised experience in the structuring, formation and distribution of investment funds as well as other investment products in the area of alternative investments, in particular real estate, private equity, infrastructure, private debt and renewable energy. Moreover, she advised institutional investors with respect to their investment in investment funds. Olena has profound knowledge in investment funds law and in connected insurance regulatory issues.

Prior to working at Linklaters, she was heading the legal & compliance department of a German AIFM focused on real estate funds for institutional investors. Olena advised on corporate law and M&A transactions, in particular in the real estate and financial institutions sector. Overall, Olena has more than 14 years’ experience in advising on regulatory and transactional matters.

She is regularly recognised as one of the leading experts in the fields of, respectively, mergers and acquisitions and real estate in Germany by Handelsblatt.

Olena is a mentor on our German Women@Linklaters mentorship programme.

She is a member of the Linklaters ESG Working Group.
