Linklaters advises Otium Capital on the structuring and creation of the Resonance fund
Linklaters advised Otium Capital, Pierre-Edouard Stérin's investment company, to launch a new €150 million fund to invest in tech start-ups.
This fund, co-headed by former Balderton and XAnge principals Maxime Le Dantec and Alban Oudin, will focus on Seed and Series A investments ranging from €100,000 to €10 million euros in start-ups oriented towards consumers, SaaS offers, fintech and cybersecurity.
Resonance intends to implement a start-up selection process that is smoother for entrepreneurs than that of traditional funds and will benefit from the expertise of Otium Capital, which has already invested more than 180 million euros in tech.
The Linklaters team in Paris was led by Corporate M&A partner Pierre Thomet and counsel Julien Bourmaud-Danto with associate Géraldine Gonzalvez as well as Tax partner Cyril Boussion and managing associate Bénédicte de Moras in Capital Markets.
