Linklaters advises lender group amid sale of Infrafibre Germany

Linklaters has advised the lender group in connection with Infrafibre Germany GmbH (IFG)’s existing facilities of €500m and IFG’s acquisition by Unsere Grüne Glasfaser GMBH & CO. KG (UGG), a joint venture between Telefónica and Allianz, from InfraCapital.

The acquisition will strengthen the position of UGG as a provider of fibre optic infrastructure and accelerate the planned expansion of 2.2 million households across Germany with modern fibre optic technology.

The cross-border Linklaters team was led by Restructuring & Insolvency partners Damien Gomez (London) and Sabine Vorwerk (Frankfurt).
