Overview
Felix provides legal advice for national and international investors, banks, insurance companies and developers in the area of Commercial Real Estate. His main focus is on the various forms of Real Estate transactions (asset and share deals) for sellers and purchasers and all aspects of asset management, in particular long-term lease agreements.

- CBRE Investment Management:
- advising on the acquisition of a portfolio of 1,350 residential units in Germany from Vonovia for €560m, on the acquisition of a residential portfolio with almost 1,200 apartments in Berlin from Vonovia for €360m, on the acquisition of the "Telekom Hauptstadtrepräsentanz" in Berlin, the mixed-use proporty "Residenz am deutschen Theater" in Berlin and other acquisitions and disposals.
- ongoing advice on the asset management of several properties.
- AG Real Estate: advising on the sale of a nursing home portfolio in Germany.
- Swiss Pillar Investments Europe: advising on the acquisition of the Mittenmang residential complex in Berlin with 142 apartments.
- DigitalBridge: advising on the real estate aspects in connection with its acquisition of Yondr Group.
- Automotive Cells Company: advising on the real estate aspects of a €4.4bn debt financing for three EV battery gigafactories in Europe.
- Dutch infrastructure funds DIF Infrastructure IV Coöperatief U.A. and DIF IV Co-Invest C.V. and investment arm of the French multinational utility company Energie de France S.A.: Advising on the sale of their joint 100% ownership stake in Thyssengas Group, being one of the largest German gas transmission system operators, by way of an auction to funds advised by Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (Europe) Limited.

Professional experience
Felix has been working as a Managing Associate at Linklaters in Berlin since 2021. From 2015 until his transition, he worked for another international law firm in Hamburg and Berlin.
In 2019 and 2020, Felix held a teaching position in real estate law at the Berlin School of Economics and Law.Education and qualifications
Felix studied law at the University of Passau and the University of Göttingen. He later earned his doctorate at the University of Göttingen and simultaneously worked at Linklaters as a legal research associate. During his legal clerkship at the Kammergericht, he completed, among others, stages in Berlin and Belgrade (Serbia). Additionally, he obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at Stellenbosch University in South Africa.
