Overview
Gilly is the firm’s Head of ESG Regional Development in Asia and is based in Hong Kong.
Gilly has over 10 years’ experience of advising on energy and infrastructure projects in the region. She formerly worked as a senior policy advisor in the UK Government’s Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC), where her role included providing analysis and advice to ministers on the strategic direction of the Government’s energy and climate change policy.
Her experience includes representation of project sponsors, lenders, multilateral development agencies and export credit agencies in connection with a number of renewable energy project financings and project development and advising lenders on sustainable lending.
Gilly is part of the firm's ESG practice, and regularly delivers training to clients in connection with ESG and sustainable finance matters in Asia.
Gilly has spent time working in London, Hong Kong SAR, Singapore and Tokyo as well as on secondment to an international financial institution in Hong Kong SAR.
