Overview

Marilena is an Associate in the Antitrust and Foreign Investment practice, based in Brussels. 

Marilena advises on all aspects of European and international competition law, including merger control, abuse of dominance, cartels and anticompetitive practices, as well as foreign investment. Her experience covers a broad range of business sectors, including technology, media, life sciences, chemicals and industrials.  

Prior to joining Linklaters, Marilena worked as an associate at other international law firms based in Brussels.

  • Microsoft: advising on its ~$70 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard*

Marilena joined Linklaters in 2024. Marilena worked as an associate at other international law firms based in Brussels.

 

Education and qualifications

Marilena studied law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She holds an LLM from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Marilena is member of the Athens Bar Association and the Dutch-speaking Brussels Bar (EU-list).

Marilena speaks Greek, English, German and Russian.
