Linklaters ranked top for global renewables project finance deals in 2021 league tables
Linklaters continued its market leading position in global renewables project finance deals in 2021, with the full year global renewables league tables from IJ Global, Inframation and Bloomberg Clean Energy placing the firm in top spot by deal value.
- According to IJ Global, the firm advised on global renewables project finance transactions valued at US$20,504 million
- Bloomberg Clean Energy ranked Linklaters as no 1 for Asset Finance, with a total deal value for the year of US$10,968 million
- Linklaters was also ranked no 1 for global renewables by Inframation with a total deal value of US$36,705 million, as well as Europe renewables and Asia renewables with total deal value of US$24,347 million and US$10,653 million respectively.
These rankings illustrate that the firm continues to work on many of the world’s largest and most complex deals, and include advising on the Dogger Bank offshore wind farm in the UK, the Courseulles-sur-Mer offshore wind farm in France and the Greater Changhua 1 offshore wind farm in Taiwan amongst many others.
Linklaters also topped the Inframation Global Energy league tables.
