Linklaters Middle East bolsters offering with four promotions and appointments

Linklaters has continued strengthening its platform in the Middle East with the recent elections of David Miles (Energy & Infrastructure), Dalia Nammari (Capital Markets) and Amro Bakhaidar (Corporate) to partner and the promotion of Peter Cullen (Capital Markets) to counsel.

Dalia and Amro focus on Saudi Arabia debt and equity capital markets, respectively, while David and Peter advise on regional E&I matters and structured and sukuk capital markets products, respectively.

These senior promotions and appointments across practice areas demonstrate the firm’s deepening footprint and expanding client relationships, as well as its commitment to the region.

David Miles advises lenders, sponsors, and government entities and has over 20 years of experience in structuring, advising on, and executing complex, high value financings in the E&I sectors in the Middle East and around the world. He advises on both conventional and Sharia’h compliant financing arrangements.

Dalia Nammari has extensive experience across the Middle East with a focus on Saudi Arabia in her role as head of the firm’s KSA debt capital markets practice, having advised on many of the most strategically important debt and sukuk transactions in the Kingdom.

Amro Bakhaidar is a leading specialist in equity capital markets and public M&A transactions in Saudi Arabia. He has experience across a wide range of corporate and capital markets transactions including IPOs, rights issues, public M&A, securities issuances, private placements, investment funds and general corporate regulatory and advisory work.

Peter Cullen is highly experienced in advising issuers and investment banks on a wide range of capital markets products and related transactions, with a particular focus on structured sukuk and other structured products.

Jonathan Fried, Linklaters Middle East Managing Partner said:

“These promotions underscore our market-leading position and our commitment to delivering the very best experience for our clients in the region, and globally. They will enhance the firm’s ability to deliver for clients on their most important and challenging mandates”.
