Overview
Natalia is an internationally trained and New York qualified lawyer (registered as a foreign lawyer with the OIRP in Warsaw) with extensive experience in the Polish market. She advises lenders and investors on the large-scale and complex energy & infrastructure projects, including those related to RES, conventional power plants (e.g., nuclear, EfW), road, port and mining sectors. As a lead associate, Natalia has a proven track record of successful projects in the PPP formula (including public procurement), as well as project financings on non-recourse terms. She also handles domestic and international commercial arbitration, and has experience in investor-State disputes related to large-scale construction projects, oil and gas exploration, and long-term gas supply.
Work highlights
Natalia has advised on a wide range of major energy and infrastructure transactions, including:
- A leading Turkish construction holding: advising on the financing of the largest PV project in Turkey (international, including UKEF, financing).
- Meridiam and Urbaser: advising in a successful public procurement bid for a PPP project (high- efficiency waste-to-energy CHP plant to provide district heating in the municipality), with the project financing on the non-recourse terms.
- A toll motorway operator and its key sponsors: advising on the PPP investment in Poland with respect to a number of contentious and non-contentious concession-related issues, as well as financing (on the non-recourse terms).
- A consortium of lenders (including EBRD): advising on the financing (construction and development) of a wind farm in Ukraine.
- A mining exploration and production company: advising on the regulatory, contentious and corporate issues in connection with the largest greenfield project in Poland.
- Jingye Group, a leading Chinese steelmaker: advising on its acquisition of certain assets of British Steel, a UK long steel product manufacturer (due diligence of procurement contracts).

Prior to joining Linklaters in 2017, Natalia worked at Shearman & Sterling LLP.
Education and qualifications
Natalia holds an LL.M degree from the University of California, Berkeley and a master’s degree from the University of Warsaw. She also studied law at the Robert Schuman University, Strasbourg.
She is a member of New York State Bar Association.
She speaks Polish, English, French and Italian.
